Hum...
I have the PS3 version, but they just updated the game with a Hardcore Search and Destroy mode. :)
I've made my new favorite perk combo claymores, stopping power, and dead silence. (the best in any kind of hardcore)

Still working those damn headshot challenges. I have the golden shotty, the golden uzi, and my fav the golden M-60. I have 100% for the M16, M4 and M14, two-thirds through the MP44 and the G36c, and only one-third through the AK and G3.

G3 is accurate, but how many F-ing headshots do I need for a kill, even with stopping power?! AK is just bad bad bad accuracy which makes me wonder why I am bothering since the AK is the gold skin for assault weapons... I haven't even bothered very much with the snipers.

I think I'll stick with my red camo M14 that I kick total ass with. I dont use the uzi for that matter, as the p90 when used with extreme trigger control is insane.

Some of my highlight matches :chuck2:

Heh. I lost interest a few weeks ago.
Maybe I should give it another shot or two over the weekend.

Though I don't really see a point to those fruity weapon skins. My guns stay black and deadly.

I think I'll flash up the SP again. Haven't played the multiplayer.

Maybe you'd be able to afford all that if you had a job.

As I slowly work the 100% mark on sniper, I am wondering if anyone else here has downloaded the cod4 mapping and mod tools?

I'm starting to see some custom maps pop up here and there, and recently played on a custom server that had some sort of mod and all custom maps. I'm still calling on the Ateam for a reunion to make ACoD4 :old:

I'd try the multiplayer, Ace, it's a lot of fun. Domination and Headquarters are great for constant action, and it's easy to get the hang of the game since there's a respawn timer to help you out. Since the team spawns constantly shift in those gametypes you'll get to play out all kinds of different scenarios on each map. I highly recommend the UAV Jammer perk, since on a regular server someone will usually have the UAV up and running most of the time.

My steamid is baronvonkill if anyone wants to play.

I'm looking forward to playing this. Preacher says it's aq2 on wheels. Crysis is way pretty, the water owns, but it randomly locks up constantly.. A lot. With any luck, COD4 won't lock up constantly and make me want to play bloody pingu throw instead.
If cod4 runs like Crysis, I'd rather play Tetris. At least with Tetris your screen won't be totally black 85% of the time, with no clue which direction to go.

COD4 isn't nearly as demanding as Crysis in terms of hardware, so it should run great. Did you finally get your new system?

Crysis ran fine here on your system (should be a couple savegames a few hours into the story even, it was one of the benchmark programs I ran) - you may not want to have AA running at 8x or whatever as that seems to kill every system on the planet I've ever seen attempt it.

CoD4 is installed on there, you just need to change the key to the legit one included (so you aren't using my key) so we can play online sometime.

And Ace, get on LBP tonight OR ELSE. And get in IRC - #idm on gamesurge.

I have the system, I'm just old and stupid so it takes me a few weeks to learn a new OS and get things squared away.

I know just enough about computers to be dangerous. I'm taking the laid back approach this time around. It'll be done when it gets done.

Haven't downlo... I mean purchased it yet. It's supposed to be great. I understand they have taken some things out though, such as dedicated server, and now lock you into a match making system for joining games. No more server browser. I'll play it for the SP, and then never play it again.

Single player is short but excellent. Think I'm too old for online now as its just like the CS days of people camping the right spots and blowing you away from a mile.
